From the beginning, Cashmere Valley Bank has been focused on serving our community. Brothers Hy W. Rieke and H.H. Rieke formed our bank in Cashmere in September of 1932 because there was no place for neighbors to bank after two previous institutions failed during the Great Depression. Cashmere Valley Bank immediately filled a need, and we continued to branch out our services.
From the mid 1970s to the early 1990s, Cashmere Valley Bank opened five new branches to better serve the Wenatchee, Leavenworth and East Wenatchee communities. And the bank has since expanded to include locations in Ellensburg, Cle Elum, Chelan and Yakima with a Municipal Banking office in Bellevue.
